It's St. Patrick's Day.I should be posting something about that- but what I'm thinking about is
SPRING!
The snow is all melted, we've enjoyed 50 degree days here for a bit-
and while I'm not naive enough to assume we've seen the last of the white stuff for the season (I remember having to shovel the driveway in April), I can feel spring in the air- almost!!

The bulbs are beginning to show themselves.
Songbirds are starting to chorus each morning.
Geese are noisily returning in vibrant Vs.
.
But I'll know it's really here when I see my favorite tree in bloom.
It's called a Redbud and I love them!

What's your favorite thing about Spring?

I thought this was a current picture, I wondered how that was when ours aren't out yet. Forsythia is the first to bloom here. Bright yellow!
Unfortunately not. Our forsythia is barely budding, but I trimmed ours and hope the sprigs flower or green as I attempt a "10% Martha" moment....
