So let's review...
February- Matt (obviously a fantastic husband) sent me to New York City for a whirlwind weekend trip.
I had never been (a crime when NY is my home state), and I joined SIL Chris, her mom, and Chris's two oldest daughters. We had a blast, saw Wicked (another first), ate scrumptious cupcakes, walked to some icons, browsed Chinatown and Little Italy, came close to being kidnapped as slave labor (that's a story for another time), and did NOT get mugged, molested or harassed in any way. I even waved to Matt and the girls on the live camera at Time's Square!
I can't wait to go back!
March- My favorite younger sister (coincidentally my only younger sister) Natalie came to stay with me for a week. Perhaps some felt I needed some close attention to prevent doing anything drastic upon reaching another decade, but I'm grateful. It was a wonderful birthday. (Thanks, Lorald for lending her!)
We did all sorts of things, spent lots of time being goofy and laughing, and got in some three sisters time.
I am truly in awe at Nat's talents- which are almost anything crafty. (By the way, Lucy loves her new dress!)
Here's a sneak peak at our biggest project....
April 7th...My oldest turned 11. Inconceivable!!
I'll have to post more soon, I promise!
(Let's see...Easter, and Kalahari, and since tomorrow is Jill's 9th birthday....
you get the picture.)
