Dear Mother Earth,
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways...
I really am a fan- truly, I am.
I love the outdoors, trees, plants, flowers, nature (mosquitos don't count, right?) and such.
HOWEVER-
Don't take this personally, but I'm NOT a fan of
the waterbottle.
Sure, sure- they have their place- like on bike holders for long excursions,
or in car cup holders for even longer car trips,
or even hiking in the aforementioned outdoors.
Unfortunately, at MY house, those pesky water bottles migrate to the far corners of nearly every room (many to be discovered en masse near the 5 yr old's bed)
where they set up residence until the hired maid collects them.
( Note: we don't have a hired maid. )
Then they live next to the sink until someone (sigh- guess who)
cleans them out with the bottle scrubbie.
Not my favorite pasttime, I'm just saying.
So to wrap this up, Mother Earth, please don't be offended if I discreetely eliminate a portion of our water bottle army, and put a ban on future aquisitions that come our way via grab bags from 5k's, 10k's and triathlons.
