This month, we've been challenged to give gifts- not the wrap-able kind, but gifts of service, kindness, time and the like. I've taken my hiatus from SPT, and thought this month brings (optimistically) spring weather, new beginnings and change. Focusing on others is something we ALL can do to spread joy, love and compassion. It's a win-win situation, so join me!So yesterday was giving a gift to a family member. Since it was my daughter's 10th birthday, and she did have wrapped gifts to enjoy, I took the time to capture the celebrating moments of the evening.
Of my three daughters, this one is most like me- in temperment, thought processes, creativity, sensitivity and interests (hence my excuse for the self-portrait contribution!).
They bring me so much joy- they truly are a gift!

looks like a fun celebration! i oftne get so wrapped up in family time that i forget to immerse myself in the moment. i need to remember that gift.
