On Wednesdays throughout the summer, Wegman's sponsors a bunch of musical concerts right on the beach for free (if you can find a parking space, of course). It's crowded, but the music is good, the breeze is heavenly, and the boardwalk, the pier, the beach (volleyball more than swimming) and the playground get lots and lots of use. (The carousel gets used the other evenings.)
This week, Marleah's group of friends from church (we call it Achievement Night) decided to go take advantage of the great weather. The Davis Family also went, and borrowed another "daughter" to come with us. We heard a party band, which kept things lively, and afterwards I realized I didn't get any pics of the beach or water- we were having too much fun watching our little monkeys on the playground.....
Oh, one more thing....we capped off the evening with yummy Abbott's custard ice cream cones!! :)
