The summer is almost half over, and we decided we better take the plunge and go camping before all opportunity escapes us. We joined some friends of ours in Herkimer, NY and enjoyed warm weather, clean bathrooms (the only way to rate a campsite), a great pool, and digging for diamonds across the street. No, they're not real diamonds, just quartz, but perfectly shaped and crystal clear. The kids had a blast with their little hammers...who would have thought?
